Fly Eagles Fly. Or at least fly just high enough and snag us a backdoor cover. We'll take it. We do eke out a .500 November - clearly not what we want, but that's minimal damage after playing with house money after the big October, also considering our big Saturday disaster earlier in the month. We move on to December where things get really interesting with the extended college football, NFL, and a load of college hoops. If you broke it down per Lock, December & January typically are the best value for the subscription throughout the year.

Winning Sunday witih Tom Brady getting us back just close enough to grab us a win in the late window yesterday. Winning is better than losing! We continue to win in the NFL on Thursday nights - and I wish that was where our attention was. That Tulane loss last night - BRUTAL. We are right there with you on how you feel about it. Number 31 for Tulane just watches the ball go right by his head. How are your hands not up on a play like that? Ridiculous. Big congrats to our subscribers on what was likely a HUGE Saturday for most of you. While we have to grade them as pushes, most everyone we have interacted with reports that they got Texas at 10 or 10' and Iowa State at 2'. Indiana tried to lose the game for us five or six times, but then they end up winning outright, and we needed one more yard from UCF. Really only game I believe that we straight missed was Tennessee.

Sunday was fine. Late turnover from the Saints squashed us from our goal of a 5-2 Sunday, but we'll take the 4-3. Solid weekend overall with 11-7 Saturday/Sunday. That's more money that you had before, and that's a good thing.

Congrats to subscribers on solid Saturday, as we go 7-4 on games across the dayparts. Was really looking to get an 8-3 day, but we will take the 7-4. Kentucky got all messed up with the non-TD, and Alabama was 60 points better than Missouri. But we did get a little bit fortunate with ECU not quitting on us to snag us a late total. So, the good luck with the bad luck.

It's finally here. What finally feels like a full, legitimate slate of football. I know there's still no Ohio State or USC on the board, but seeing Auburn, Tennessee, LSU, and the rest on my chart makes for a much better Saturday. I hope all of you enjoy.

Backdoor kick in the junk last night as the Browns completely laid down on fourth downs during last night's final drive, giving Joe Burrow the backdoor cover just inside the six. Not happy about it. Solid to so-so start with college football yesterday. Actually happy about the selections, just didn't have Tulane wake up until too late in the third quarter before they started to play like they should have all game. Western Kentucky we came up just a point short, but big wrong-team-favored wins with GaTech & Coastal and a relatively easy cover with UNC. Not a great day for the BigXII, btw.

Disappointed in how we got ripped at the end of last night's FCS opener. We know you are as well.

The admin and I went over it last night - probably 5 to 6 plays in that game where if any had developed differently, we cover and likely win outright. Really bogus last :90 of that game. Also ridiculous replay review in the second quarter that negated a 15 yard run to put Austin Peay inside the 5, first and goal. But we know this won't be our last bad beat of the year - these things happen. So let's stay positive and move on to today.
