ABOUT LANCE

Born and raised in the Football Capital of the South, Lance Taylor first began his sports career as a play-by-play man for Minor League Baseball in 1995. In 2002, he started a daily radio program on WJOX in Birmingham, AL and has covered the largest sports stories of the past 20+ years.. He has differentiated himself with his sharp wit and insight, and has distinguished himself as an authority in sports analysis and handicapping.

In 2021, Lance and his partners Jim Dunaway and Ryan Brown launched their own digital sports media enterprise, with digital programs and content covering college football and all major sports. Through this platform, Lance has access to sports personalities, athletes, and coaches - these unique relationships give him an extended understanding of how he believes certain athletes and teams will perform in certain situations.

Lance has appeared as a panelist on ESPNews and has been a panelist on Inside Southeastern Sports for several college football seasons. He also is a frequent guest on radio programs and podcasts across the country and SiriusXM.

Lance’s handicapping strategies are based on an anti-public approach, tempered with specific position matchups that he adds an extra weight to. While many handicappers and websites offer plays on every game on the board, Lance offers you only the choicest options for that day. Lance stresses that picking or playing too many games is a good way to lose.
